My name is Tex! I am a male Military Macaw. I do prefer the company of women. I am not so big on cuddling or skritches. I will test you coming out of my cage but once I am away from my cage however, I am very nice. I like showing off and playing with just about anything I can wrap my beak around. If you ask me for a kiss I will make kissing sounds. I am a Macaw so I can get loud and need lots of space. If you are interested in me, please contact the Center for Avian Adoption, Rescue and Education. Note: We do not ship parrots and generally adopt only within a 200-mile radius of Fargo, North Dakota. A pre-adoption home visit by a member of our adoption committee is required for every adoption. Adoptions are not first come, first served; we strive to find the most appropriate home for each parrot.
